The owner is highly qualified and has a superb level of knowledge and information about watchmaking. Repairs are to Swiss-made factory standard and as an authorised Tissot service center this quality shows.
In my opinion, overpriced repairs and poor customer service. Owner and wife can shovel it like no one I've ever come across. Just shows why anti trust legislation is a good thing. Having a monopoly in business is not a good thing.
My overall impression is watchmaker knows his stuff, but you have to put up with inane comments that, most times (pun), make no sense. He also looks down on non-European watches, even though he advertises at storefront that he repairs them. I won't be going back.
