A songwriter who has released seven CDs, Kris Demeanor is also a theatre artist and poet who inspires people to laugh, dance, weep, think and party. Calgary’s inaugural poet laureate, his recent work includes Making Treaty 7, a theatrical presentation involving First Nations and non-aboriginal artists as well as writing songs for CBC’s The Irrelevant Show and collaborating with Ian Tyson on new recordings.
