Beadles Beads and Jewellery carries beads from around the world, but there’s no need to be intimidated by the thousands of options displayed at the store. Owner Sienna Kaczmar welcomes anyone into her shop. “Whether you’re a beginner looking to do something in your spare time, a pro looking to add to your collection or someone just needing your jewellery repaired – anyone’s welcome here,” says Sienna.
Here you’ll find beads of many different colors, textures and sizes: murano glass beads from Italy, Japanese seed beads, Austrian crystals, African trade beads, Czechoslovakian glass beads and many more. Healing stones and crystals are on offer as well.
“Besides stringing the beads together for jewellery, we also have beads for costumes: skating, swimming, belly dancing and such,” says Sienna. Weddings are another popular beading opportunity, and Sienna does beadings for veils, headpieces and bridesmaids’ accessories. “I’ve done wedding parties where we sit together with the bridesmaids and do their own accessories,” shares Sienna. When the brides or bridesmaids are doing a fitting, Sienna designs accessories that go along with the dresses. “I will try to make something that has more versatility, rather than having them just use it for the one outfit.”
