Butterfly Baby Doula Services

We decided to hire a doula for our first child after a friend highly recommended having that support system in place, not just for me but for my husband too. I cannot express the impact our doula, Randi, had on our birth experience and throughout postpartum. She was the support we needed throughout the entire journey! She is compassionate, supportive and very calming, the absolute perfect fit for us. Having doula support during labour/delivery and postpartum, is truly worth its weight in gold.

Randi was an invaluable support during our pregnancy and birth. After chatting with her for a few minutes it becomes obvious she is very experienced and brings a confidence with her that is very reassuring. I liked how thorough her "birth wishes" interview was. She was unhesitatingly present any time. I am so glad we hired her.

Randi knows her stuff about breastfeeding. Shes dealt with many of the common nursing challenges with her two kids (insufficient/low supply, tongue/ lip ties, reactions to food in moms diet, latch issues, etc. ) as well as providing postpartum support to many mothers - myself included! When I started having nipple pain after my son was born, she walked me through a good latch. After a couple days the pain still continued, so she suggested it might be a lip/ tongue tie and helped us out.

Randi was an amazing support to me in the time leading up to my birth, the labour and birth itself, and the postpartum journey. She is one of those people who makes you feel safe, comfortable, heard, completely not judged, and beautiful. I did not have a doula with my first two children and was so pleased with my experience with Randi for my third that I would definitely ask her to be part of another birth in the future.
