Glenmore Estates is in a vibrant community with a variety of features. Surrounded by green space in South Calgary and only minutes from the city, these newly renovated, contemporary bachelor, one, and two bedroom rental suites truly embody the best of both urban and rural worlds.
This place is ridiculously overpriced. For a dingy, 420 square foot bachelor suite, they are wanting roughly a grand a month, and that's with a year long fixed term. Prices get very expensive indeed if you want a shorter term. If you go month to month, you'll be paying $1190. The apartment is very noisy. You can hear conversations in the hallways and the garbage being taken out at all hours of the morning. The place is in need of renovations, and looks very shabby. They do not keep the hours of operation up to date on their website, so if you're going in to pay rent, you may find an empty office. Of course you are charged extra if you are late for a payment, even if the reason is because they closed their office when they said it would be open. The parking lot and sidewalks are always very icy in the winter. There isn't a lot of maintenance that gets done. They once used a piece of fiberboard as a front door to one building for months after the glass door was broken. Overall, it was a very bad experience living here. The only good thing about the apartments is the location, and that's not nearly enough at these prices. If you rent here, you'll regret it.
