Talk about disappointed. Elaine is good at giving the run around. We found a rental property we really wanted and she said we could have a viewing this afternoon. Needless to say never happened and she didnt have the decency to answer our emails texts or phone calls. Not ever going to use this company!

Elaine at Realty Edge in Calgary is extremely difficult to deal with. I too had a minimal move in inspection and at move out she showed up with a black light! Literally. She also advised that she parked up the street and watched me at the property. After weeks of her viewing my linkedIn profile I received a letter stating that I owed almost $6,000 on top of the damage deposit she was keeping. The week I moved into that property the previous tenant showed up very upset for the same reasons.

From the perspective of a tenant, the service and professionalism of Elaine at Realty Edge Calgary is atrocious. We were frequently left waiting weeks for replies to emails and phone calls and she rarely answered the phone for the 24/7 help line offered. The inspection her company performed on the building upon move in was minimal and undocumented and Elaine used this to her full advantage upon move out. Over the year, Elaine and her company did not live up to their promises of professionalism.

RENTER BEWARE

My Husband and I rented Reality Edge Group and it was the worst experience we have ever encountered. First of all we had 2 inspections though out our one year and they did not give us any notice (Luckily I am a very clean person). I was very frightened when a man just walked in our home to inspect while I was upstairs with my newborn. Also it took them 3 months to figure out our direct deposit, my husband had to phone let them know they forgot to take rent out each time and drove to her office to give her new forms as they had lost them or the "accountant" forgot to enter the information. Finally we had enough and gave our notice, they had several people come look at the house but had no clue about the amenities of the property,(ie: there was a backyard and property maintained by the condo.) Our lease has been up for more then 10 days and we are still trying to chase them around for our deposit back. I would NOT recommend to rent from or allow my property to be managed by "Reality Edge Group" as it is clear they have no clue on what it entails to do so.
