Red Bush Tea

Have you ever heard of a marriage proposal in a tea and coffee shop? Well that depends on the shop, doesn’t it? One of the regulars at Red Bush Tea & Coffee Company felt it was the perfect place to pop the question. “I didn’t know what was going on,” laughs owner, Heather Ferguson. “One of the staff was in on it though because they had flowers and a ring all pre-arranged. It was lovely.”

Of course a proposal doesn’t happen every day, but there is always great tea and coffee to be had in this pleasant, comfortable and inviting cafe. “What fires me up is when people walk out of here saying what a great little place it is and telling me that they’re coming back with a friend or brother or mother,” says Heather.
