“I like working out puzzles and solving problems,” says Dr. Kathryn Dundas, owner of Sublime Wellness. “I enjoy the challenge of thinking outside the box and determining what the root problem is for a patient, then solving it as best I can.” She attributes her ability to see a medical problem from different angles as a result of her career in the arts prior to becoming a doctor.
As a professional with a private practice, Kathryn has delivered babies and fixed fractures. Her own business was a way to expand on that. “I opened Sublime Wellness as a complementary service in 2008,” she says. “I opened it because I saw it as a need for people.”
Kathryn describes her combination of allopathic and alternative healing treatments as Integrative Medicine. A person can see her about a nagging cold or a pain in their side, and she’ll approach the problem with the customized skill set she's gained from her in-depth medical knowledge. Sublime Wellness services include acupuncture, facials, laser treatments, nutritional advice, massage and Ayurvedic medicine.
