Hello, I stopped...

Hello, I stopped into your 5808 Macleod Trail outlet today with a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach ... A common feeling I believe when you must take your vehicle into a shop where you don't know anybody. I've heard some horror stories about unnecessary repairs and not only in Calgary but in every city I've lived in. I thought for sure the way my Jeep was wobbling & shaking (I drove from the South Health Campus to 5808 Macleod Trail South doing 40 kms on Friday during rush hour) which is not a nice situation to be in and I thought for sure it was going to cost me a pile of money to have my Jeep repaired. Shortly after getting home I got a call from Marco just a little more then an hour after dropping my Jeep off. Mannie one of the mechanics test drove my Jeep. After putting it on the hoist he found the problem was caused by a improper wheel alignment (done elsewhere). The the left front wheel had never been properly 'torqued' ! I was shocked. The wheel could easily have came off while I was driving which was dangerous to say the least. The service here was incredible. When I asked Marco how much I owed he said nothing. They didn't charge me anything. I was amazed with the honesty of the staff here. This was a pleasant surprise I thought for sure I would be charged at least a diagnostic fee. Mannie was great. He assured me he would do his best and he would call me before he went ahead and done any work or ordered any parts. Mannie took the time to put my Jeep on the hoist; found the problem; fixed it and didn't charge me. I know where I'll be going from now on for ANY mechanical repairs and I will send anybody I know who needs service there as well. My experience today with the Blaskin and Lane on 5808 Macleod Trail was GREAT. Thank you Mannie & Marco :)
