Oasis Medical Clinic (Chestermere) Inc

My wife and I have been going to Chestermere Oasis clinic for over 10 years and we can honestly say that Dr. Yin and Dr. Zamani have been literally life savers for us. Dr. Zimani helped me with a serious health problem a few years ago and Dr. Yin has been our family physician from the beginning. We are always impressed with the professionalism of these doctors and their front line staff. Dr. Yin has helped us over the years through some pretty challenging situations. Thank you. You guys ROCK!

Misleading website, incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful staff.

I tried to make an appointment with Dr. Zamani today (Aug 8) and was told that the earliest I could see him was October as he is fully booked. He obviously has WAY TOO MANY patients!! Time to find a new doctor.

I am strongly recommending this Clinic to anyone. My friends whose been to the clinic was fully satisfied the way Dr. Zamani is handling their health problems. I've been with Dr. Zamani for a long time now and he is such a great help to me and to my family. He is such a wonderful doctor. The staffs are friendly and respectful.

Seek Medical attention elsewhere

I went into the clinic with a problem I'd had for several months, a rash on my forearm and chest. Without a proper examination I was diagnosed with a parasite called scabbies. After ten days of pain, discomfort, and exhausting daily cleaning, I went to a pharmacist at our local drug store to request possibly another form of treatment other than originally prescribed by the doctor at this clinic. He informed me I may have been incorrectly diagnosed and suggested a second opinion which I did and was diagnosed with a completely different problem but one the pharmacist suggested just by a quick look. A little untrusting at this point I consulted a third opinion from my personal doctor who had been away, and she laughed at my paranoia of possibly having scabbies as there was no way with a simple diagnosis this could be mistaken for scabbies, but was non other than a rash or ezceme and could be healed up with in a day or two, which it was.. I was happy that the pharmacist had a better understanding of medical conditions than the doctor at this clinic. Makes you wonder how many other conditions have been mis-diagnosed here!

The most important aspect of any healthcare practitioner/facility (other than competance of staff, of course) is AVAILABILITY! When you call this clinic, you very often get a voicemail that tells you that they are too busy to anwer the phone. The message also states that the clinc hours vary daily but it does not tell you what the hours are for any given day! Furthermore you CANNOT even leave a voicemail on this system! I have tried calling several times today (a Wednesday - morning through afternoon) and have not been able to get through. I have an appointment tomorrow and want to confirm that the tests are back before I go. I was given conflicting information on how long it would take for the doctor to receive them and don't want to waste my time (as well as taking time off work) only to find out the doctor doesn't have them yet!
