Leaving Edmonton I stopped to grab a quick salad and some crab cakes. I ordered my food and paid. I asked for the salad to be dressed and mixed. When I went back in to pick up my food, I was told by the MANAGER that he was sorry but he couldn't find any silverware for me. So the crab cakes crumbled everywhere while trying to eat them without a fork. When I opened up my salad it was not dressed and there were no croutons. Needless to say this is not the experience you expect from the Keg. I am thoroughly dissatisfied with the service from somewhere I used to love to go:(

The Keg has always had a special place in my heart. The atmosphere and service is spectacular and the food is to die for. From the soft, warm buttered bread they give you before ordering, to the steaks and the decadent desserts, be prepared and come with an empty stomach. The pricing might be above average, but once in a while never hurts and it's completely worth your money. I go every year for my birthday and then some!

My wife and I went for lunch the other day. We had the lunch special which was a steak sandwich. The meal was very good and the service was excellent. Lunch cost us 60 dollars which is very high and not really worth it.
