Circle Property Services

My strata unfortunately uses this company and they are slow, terrible and expensive. The workers are very unskilled and do the bare minimum of work. They leave a mess and take short cuts every corner they can. What they say they are going to do and what ends up being the result are two very different things. Just like others reviews on here you will most likely end up hiring another company out of pocket to finish the job correctly. Shop around for better and avoid if at all possible.

Very poor project management, no scope, no timeline, no follow up. Cheap, not skilled labor. I was forced to use them, it was very painful and stressful experience. Extremely slow, for few minor very poorly done repairs, it took them more than 3 months. Their work is incomplete and messy. I had to hire another company to fix everything that was ruined after Circle “finished” their work. Avoid them if you can.

I returned home from my vacation to find the connection to my toilet tank had broken and my basement was flooded!! I called Circle Property Services and they came to my rescue. Each and everyone that I dealt with was professional and friendly. Thank you everyone at Circle for turning a difficult situation into the pleasure of meeting so many nice people doing a great job. After experiencing a major flood at our home, the Circle Serrvices staff were prompt to arrive and very professional. Once our place was dry, they communicated with the property manager and the insurance company and had our place restored in less than three weeks. We were amazed at their quality of work and their cleanliness. No one wants to have a flood, but if you do, these guys are the best.

No words can express how much I appreciate all Circle Property Services, my strata and Insurance agent have done to put an misfortunate, frustrating and uncontrollable situation, stress free! A huge thank you to all the staff at Circle who responded, guided and empthized every step of the way.

For what they off...

For what they offer and what you get the cost is very high. You'd be better off to shop around first so that in an emergency situation you're not stuck calling these people. Just a heads up, the invoice will include "hotel like" charges and rates for renting their dehumidifiers and other services. Incredibly high rates. They don't accept credit cards, so you best have cash on hand or a cheque ready. Lots of extra surcharges of 18% on the bill as well. AVOID AT ALL COSTS...you it will cost!

Overall bad practices and services

The Strata for my apartment complex uses Circle Properties, whom I dealt with when the upstairs neighbors had a bad leak.The tech they sent out seemed professional and knowledgeable when I was present at the home but as soon as they had access to my house when I wasn't home, the bare minimum of work was done. The ripped out the dry wall and put a mold treatment on the ceiling and carpets but not on the walls where the dry wall hadn't been ripped out but the leak had been in those areas. The mold problem even after treatment still was not resolved because they only pulled out some of the dry wall in the affected areas and not all. They also left our GROUND LEVEL WINDOW WIDE OPEN after working one day while my husband and me were at work, there was literally nothing keeping someone from crawling through our window and robbing us blind. When I called there 24 hour page line, the lady who answered the phone right from the beginning refused to give her name, she immediately was irritated because I was explaining the situation about the mold to her, and she stated that she was 'only the page line person' and basically she didn't care what was going on, and then accused me of yelling even though I wasn't. She then hung up on me 6 times when trying to give her my number and when she accused me of yelling I said "lets agree to disagree, this needs to be dealt with" in which she proceeded in hanging up on me again. She was completely unprofessional and had the worst customer services I had ever had the experience of dealing with. However the normal girl who works during Office hours Alana is completely delightful and professional. After Circle Properties initial assessment they claimed it would take 2 weeks to start working, meaning 1 month total of a completely destroyed house with minimal action, missing dry wall and heavy amounts of mold and dry wall that were left in chunks on the floor.
