Located in the heart of Burnaby at the Delta Hotel and Conference Centre, e.b.o. is a restaurant that serves, according to executive chef Keith Pear, “approachable, familiar food, but a twist.” The name is an acronym that stands for "experiences beyond ordinary" and that is exactly what diners can expect at this outstanding restaurant.

Keith’s passion for the culinary arts was fostered from a young age under the tutelage of his parents, who are both chefs themselves. Recently, his skills in the kitchen earned him the top prize in the third season of Chopped Canada. Being selected as one of six Canadian finalists for the prestigious Bocuse d’Or culinary competition in France is also one of Keith’s proudest professional accomplishments.

Stop in for a bit of gambling at the Grand Villas Casino in Burnaby and don’t miss out a meal at the casino’s in-house restaurant, e.b.o. After spending two Valentine’s Day dinners at this sophisticated restaurant and lounge, I can say with some certainty that this location offers both a romantic setting and decadent meals. The dinner menu includes seasonal pastas, seafood and a variety of steak options.

Breakfast is a blast at these daytime spots in Burnaby

Don’t settle for humdrum first thing in the day, especially when you’ve got a restaurant that makes breakfast and brunch an exquisite art form. Instead of the usual bacon and eggs, live a little with wild mushroom soup (mushroom terrina, brioche crouton, feta) or a smoked salmon omelette made with fresh Pacific Provider salmon, grilled asparagus, avocado and creamy Boursin cheese. Many items are locally-sourced and there are plenty of meatless options for vegetarians.
