Safeway Sardis

This is the worst Safeway ever and management should be ashamed.

2nd time going to the deli for fresh sandwiches and both times when I got home the bread was stale and when I say stale it was hard to bite the crust was so dry that it cut my lip. I usually go to the Safeway down in Chilliwack downtown but since they've closed I don't have any other options. I would never get another sandwich from the deli here on luckakuck Safeway. both times I asked if the bread was made fresh that day and they said yes. Obviously it could not have been.

Always friendly know where to find the product your looking for when asked, I enjoy shopping there.

Terrible service at deli. Shelves are never stocked in bakery or dairy. Long line ups at cashiers because they only have 2 open.

I was in the store yesterday and noticed that in the bakery the Napoleon Slice was on sale,if you bought one it was $2.99 instead of $3.49 and if you bought 2 they were $2.50 ea.When I checked my receipt when I got home and I had been charged $3.49,I went back to the store and spoke to an older blond women behind the bakery counterand told her the problem and without saying anything to me she said look it's the tarts that are on sale not those,turned around and walked off behind the counter agai

My rating is specific to check out (cashiers?. We like shopping at Safeway and have for many years but will not return to the Chilliwack store based on our experience with the miserable, unfriendly staff on the tills. Yesterday I asked a question about a product I was buying and after I got a look of why are you asking me the response was I don't know, not let me find out. There are other options available in Chilliwack and I will use them. If they don't want to be there move on.
