I have been extremely satisfied with the consistent excellent Service, Menu selection and Meal quality over the past 2 1/2 years at Denny's Penticton. The critical Reviews from 2008 accurately reflected conditions at this restaurant during that period. We quit going there then because of the problems we experienced. In my opinion, Denny's now offers better Service, Meal quality and Menu selections than any of the other Restaurants in Penticton.
We were hoping to have a decent breakfast after a 40km bike ride and after we saw people leaving their tables without ordering we asked if there was a problem and were told everything was fine but ended up waiting 45 minutes for breakfast that was ice cold. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are a glutton for punishment...
I travel 14 days a month around bc and tend to stay at the Sandmann I have to tell you of all the Denny's l have eaten at the one here in penticton is the worst. My first night l ordered room sevice had chicken strips and the 4 together may have made one, they were very over cooked so needless to say l went hungry. On my next room service meal it took 45min and was so cold my gravy had filmed over and the bread was soggy so needless to say l again went hungry! As a District Manager for a large retail chain l find this to be the worst level of customer service. l will never eat at this or any other Denny's again and may also not stay at the sandmann if l now have to eat else were. this is not the first time l have been unhappy with this Denny's it seem to be the norm. Not really sure if you care regarding my feedback, but l have to tell you l deal with hundreds of people a week and well they care what l think.
