not fresh authentic or reasonable price

mexican food is cheap to make. i feel i was eating leftover food. very dry rice and beans. portions were small. it used to be a great restaurant. new owners i think. i had two waitresses. one didnt have a clue about anything. very dirty and old looking. me and two young boys cost $70 not impressed and will not be returning.

I love great Mexican fare, but this was not. First off,...the menu had caked on old food all over it and when I politely asked for another ,it also was soiled with food. The menu was covered in plastic so that tells me that no-one wipes down their menu's. Gross and poor attention to cleanliness. The menu was decent, but certainly not traditional Mexican fare, more like a Canadian spin-off of Mexican.The food was overly spiced and lacked the simple main ingredients in traditional Mexican fare like, cilantro, lemon, onions,Jalepenos & tomatoes.The beans were bland and dried out, much like the rice.I did notice dried Anjo spice in the kitchen...need I say more...not so bueno amigo....I still think the best Mexican fare is in the USA & Mexico,...not B.C. ( so far...) The second waitress was unable to explain the fare at all. Happy Noshin' Brianm.
