“It’s meant to be that place where you can find everything you need, from the historic hard-to-find supplies to educational materials and opportunities, and actual human staff members who know things,” says owner Rick Havlak. “It’s a place where you can come to figure out how to do some kind of project that improves your self-sufficiency.”
