Southlands Nursery

We went here to see what this nursery was like. Nice selection of plants and décor-BUT-what a ridiculous experience with an older saleswoman there. On questionning her politely-3 times-about an antique decorative replica of a home, quickly, she turned away..I saw that it was $1800. By this time I didnt want it- her behaviour was SO bizarre. I just turned to walk out. As I did, I saw her-again she oddly recoils. Do not go here, or ask questions-especially if you are a polite, white-haired woman?

Garden of Eden

This little gem of a nursery is located in Vancouver's Southlands and is owned by local gardening celebrity Thomas Hobbs. If there is a more exotic plant or variety that you are looking for as an addition to your garden this is the place to go and get it. The whole place feels lush and for a smaller space they pack in amazing plants that are all of high quality. The staff can sometimes be intimidating to the beginning gardener and this is not the place to go bargain shopping. That said the garden accents and accessories that the do carry are beautiful and of the highest quality. Southlands is definitely a must see for any gardener!
