Meet the owner

With its picturesque views, delectable chef-prepared menu and cozy ambiance, it's easy to see why The Wicklow has become a go-to dining destination for Vancouver visitors and locals alike. Located on the seawall just steps away from the Aquabus dock, the restaurant's prime waterfront location is hard to beat.

The pub was formerly known as Stamps Landing, a landmark in False Creek for decades. In 2012, Marnie Campbell and her husband Patrick took ownership of the venue, which has since doubled in size"We both love the industry and already owned another pub when this one came up, so we decided to buy it,” Marnie recalls.

    Vancouver’s best dog-friendly patios

Nestled along the False Creek Seawall, the Wicklow gives you one of the most idyllic city summer views. Out on the patio with some deep fried appies and a couple of cold beers, you can bask in the sun, the glow of the water and the nautical backdrop. That is, if you're not too caught up in some serious dog watching; the extended adjacent pet patio lets you keep a good eye on your pup.

Vancouver restaurants for mouthwatering macaroni and cheese

The Wicklow at Stamps Landing is a cozy little pub located right on the water. Here they’ve decided to add diced tomatoes, peppered bacon and aged cheddar to their delicious version of mac and cheese, and it comes with salad and garlic bread too. The question is whether you can manage to finish it all.

Grab a pint of Guinness at these Vancouver Irish pubs

Located on the south-eastern edge of Vancouver’s scenic False Creek seawall, The Wicklow is an Irish-infused modern West Coast pub. While the menu features many delicious (though not very Irish) selections, the pub does provide several original takes on Irish classics as well – such as their Guinness Irish Stew, Guinness Chili and Classic Burger with Guinness cheddar and Dijon mayo. The Wicklow is the perfect place to cap off a brisk walk on the seawall with a proper pint.
