We ordered 2 Prawn Brokers on Sunday 28 August 2022. We asked for extra sauce on both of them and on one we asked for no red or green peppers and no green onions. Guess what? They were both very dry and the one without the red or green peppers and onions came with all three! We have order there since covid started and have it delivered, but never again. They are living on their laurels and not good any more. We started eating there in 1996.
Since 1979, Pagliacci’s has made a name for itself in our culinary scene and won over the hearts of locals. It’s a favourite spot to enjoy generous portions of comforting Italian classics, seasoned with savoury herbs, spices and topped with traditional cheeses. Their dessert menu, “La Dolce Vida,” includes two delectable cheesecake options: New York Cheesecake and Marble Cheesecake – and diners can’t resist either of them. Famous for their New York Cheesecake, Pagliacci’s dessert menu slogan is “The House that Cheesecake Built.”
In its decades-long history, Pagliacci’s has served the likes of Allen Ginsberg, Bob Dylan and Susan Sarandon. While we aren’t sure what these celebrities ordered, hopefully they didn’t miss out on the bottomless soup. It’s a great deal and an amazing culinary experience that everyone in Victoria should try. The soups change every day, so you can visit often without any one flavour wearing out its welcome.
A Victoria institution since 1979, Pagliacci's is often heralded for their scrumptious soups and perfect pasta. But don't overlook their salads.
