Dr. Chambers is the best! Always very honest and extremely knowledgeable. Have gone to her for years and very lucky have found her.

Even though I was pet-less, I had a family veterinarian whom I had a great relationship with and had been taking my pets to for over 10 years. I was a bit apprehensive when I decided to foster an adult dog with special needs because he already had a different veterinary clinic working on his issues. I work in the veterinary industry so I knew I could meet his needs, but a different Doctor and different staff members? During the initial settling in period everyone at Royal Oak Pet Clinic was friendly and helpful, but I was still unsure of how things would play out when it came down to the nitty gritty. I quickly realized my qualms were all for not! During any given conversation any staff member is able to go from “shop talk” on subjects I’m knowledgeable about, to regular explanations on topics I’m less familiar with. I always feel like I’m being heard and understood and that any changes to Charlie’s treatment plan are in his best interest, just as important though is that he’s always happy to go in and visit. As most foster parents do, the thoughts of adoption started sneaking in. Providing a long term home to a loving, gentle middle aged dog who would need constant veterinary consults, and a lifetime of medications was a no brainer. I had the love to give, the training to provide the care he would need, and most importantly I had found a group of amazing people who where just as invested in his well being as I am. Over a year later I’m proud to say that ALL of our hard work is paying off and he’s a normal, happy little guy!
