I was in NS visiting in June and I broke a control arm on my car. Someone suggested I call Coveys so I did. They got me a control arm the next day and I got it put on and was back on the road in no time. Great customer service and good prices. I will definitely be contacting them next time I am in ns and need help with my car.
I bought an engine from Covey’s on May 25th 2012 for $1397.25 The nearest time I could get it installed was June 8, 2012 for $1569.85. Around mid July, I noticed small drop marks on my asphalt that was newly paved less than a year ago. I took the car back to my mechanic on July 31st . They had to replace the “variable valve timing solenoid” which cost $184.00. The switch was actually broken in half. The mechanic said that the solenoid was probably damaged in an accident from the previous vehicle and I should call Covey’s to see what they can do for me. When I called Covey’s they said they would look into it and make some calls. A few hours later they told me there was nothing they could do for me because I couldn’t prove that the piece was broken when they sent it to me. REALLY? The part that broke was on the inside of the engine in a hard to reach area. Isn't that proof enough? After giving them $1397.25 for an engine, they won’t cover the $184.00 for something that they sold me which was already broken! That is the worst customer service I have ever encountered and they will never get my business again! I recommend you buy your product from a reputable dealer with some level of customer service.
