BEWARE out of town customers. I recently had a plumbing job completed by Dave The Plumber. His crew did a great job and were very efficient. Happy? Yeah, until I got the final bill. They charged me additional travel fees because their crew got caught in traffic. Before even turning the water off they wanted to charge me $776. If this isn't price gouging I don't know what is. I am a reasonable person, this is unreasonable. The job was 3.5hrs. Sincerely, Gouged by Dave. Stop the bleeding!

Choosing the righ...

Choosing the right contractors for our new build was a time consuming job. We built our home with hydronic infloor radiant heat. We couldn't afford to take a chance and just hire anyone so we asked around,followed up on references and narrowed it down to a handful of contractors. We chose Dave The Plumber and and it was a wise choice . He is honest, a well organized guy who takes great pride in his work. The cost was very fair when comparing apples to apples. When I had questions he always gave us an answer we could understand. If and when I decide to do it all over again I'll be looking for Dave. Again thank you Dave and Staff for your honesty,hard work,and the respect you had for my home. Thanks to you I won't be losing any sleep . Great job. CHEERS!!! William & Erin

Seriously the most professional plumber I have met. These guys are good. Came by way of referral. Dave provided all the options, no nonsense - and shows up when he says he will. I found his ability to troubleshoot amazing. Dave cares about his work. "Dave the Plumber" will certainly be a household name in Cape Breton. Highly recommended. Great prices for the work they do which is excellent Easy to talk to and they explain all your options and prices No hidden fees, the quotes are solid They clean up their messes and don't wear their dirty boots on your floors Honest company and the plumbers are very fast The work is up-to-date and guaranteed to be done right the first time I won't ever call any other plumbing company since I lucked out with this company.

Fast and friendly

Called Dave when I noticed leakage from sewer line in basement when the upstairs bathtub was drained. He arrived earlier than expected which was excellent. He used his camera snake gizmo and found a giant ball of tree roots in my sewer line. He was able to quickly remove the roots and clear everything out. Price was very reasonable, and he very professional and friendly. Will definitely be calling Dave again for any future plumbing issues. Highly recommended.

Excellent Service

Unfortunately my house has needed a plumber a few times over the past year -- fortunately I called Dave The Plumber. Dave got back to me quickly and called to let me know when he'd arrive. He was professional, courteous and explained all options and costs before proceeding. He educated me as to what was occuring -- plumbing is something I know nothing about and he made it make sense. At the end he explained everything he had done. Dave was also very clean in the areas he had worked. I have recommended him to others.
