We like Brars Buffet. though the Mississauga location is smaller and cozy. There is a lot of variety so try a little bit before bigger searving. Once you know what you like you will enjoy a lot. there are a lot of items to choose from. I love the pani puris (with curry fillings) and my wife loves the sweets (dont miss the ras malai). I am sure you will visit repeatedly. Note that this is a vegitarian restaurant.
Great restaurant, keep it up guys. People are never satisfied.
Brar is one of the few restaurants in Toronto with a vegetarian Buffet. The place can be crowded on weekends and evenings and I dont think they take reservations (too bad). Honestly if the place was that bad you wouldnt see this much crowd and wait times during peak hours. Anyways I have always like the food. They have too many items (even started Dosas now) so go with an empty stomach. The food is mostly North Indian/Punjabi style with a good selection of appetizers, main courses and desserts/fruits. I would love to be back at this place whenever I am in Toronto again
It wasn't indian food taste. I had visited many places to India like Bombay, Baroda, Madras and in india taste was excellent. Food quality is no good.
If you want to see Indian Cuisine getting Insulted and Mocked this is the place to be ,. Worst Indian food I have ever eaten. Never going there again the service is even worse.

Aptly named, Brars’ Grand Buffet is open for lunch (11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and dinner (5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.). Authentically Indian, the buffet is entirely vegetarian, consisting of dishes like paneer, samosas, aloo gobi and vegetable biryani. The restaurant first opened in 1986 and now has two locations, one in Etobicoke and one in Brampton, as well as their own line of Indian products sold at Wal Mart and Loblaws.
