The food here is delicious, when you eat in. Don't buy the greasy take out. This place gives fast , friendly service to their eat in customers.It isa great place to take family and friends. Warm friendly atmosphere.

A Stomach Ache Waiting to Happen!

I use to go to the Joey's in Ancaster and it was WONDERFUL! Its now closed so I thought I would give the Brantford location a try. After having been East (Nova Scotia) you can hardly call what they serve here "seafood". It was a disgusting mess, lousy food and lousy service. I won't be back!

Food Not That Great

This place has been in Brantford for years. I have been many times, but the last time I went, I wasn't impressed at all. It is so busy in there, with servers running around like mad. The place is so small and the decor is outdated. The fish tastes overcooked and salty, while the french fries taste like they just came straight out of your local grocer's freezer. Even though this place has been open for many years, you would think it would have garnered a positive following, but alass, it has not. Won't be sad to see this place go.

Dried out fish, cold chips, brown lettuce in salad and old geezer coughing up a lung right next to us, could it get any better?

Not Halibut

I love F&C once in awhile, but I will ONLY eat Halibut. It's expensive, relatively speaking, and the reason I pay the price, is becuz I CAN tell the difference! I'd say out of 10 times ordering, 3 of them it wasn't Halibut. On top of that, I find the F&C getting greasier and soggier with each visit. I gave them plenty of chances for it to have just been a mistake, but i won't be back.

Fish wasn't Red Snapper, salad was limp and had dirt in it, celery bread was cold and way, way over priced for 2 pieces, the coffee was cold and bitter, I can't remember what the dessert was it was so bad. When I complained the waitress said the owner was there and she'd summon them. I waited an extra 20 minutes but he / she never bothered to talk to me. Needless to say - I didn't tip!! And the decor was rather cluttered, rundown, shanty-town apropos for Brantford!!
