I had shashimi dinner and my sister had Tempura dinner. We shared broiled scallop and Hawaiian roll. It was amazing, specially the tempura was really good- very crunchy.Definitely i'll visit this place again.
Visited Mikado a few times, and each time it's progressively worse. Will not return. Also, the prices are high compared to other sushi restaurants in Burlington.
This place is really good! We just happened to come across this place on our travels and decided to stop in. It is near the lake which makes it really beautiful. The decor of the restaurant is really nice! They have tons of decorative sun umbrellas on the walls, and the photos on the wall are really unique. They had tons of Japanese and Korean dishes, my friend was very happy that she was able to have the dishes that she missed from Korea. The Philadelphia Roll is to die for! Very tasty! I would definitely return to this place, and would recommend you try it!
I went to mikado again, and this time, i ordered to go. I ordered seafood teriyaki and oved it. I tried so many things from this place but in my opinion seafood teriyaki and sea bass steak was the best. The sashimi ans sushi was vvery fresh and good. When you visit there, try seafood teriyaki, sea bass steak and tempura.

Their vegetable gyoza was so good. Beef was very soft, tender and the terriyaki sauce was very good with the beef and the rice. Shashimi was very fresh and the salad was very good!
If you have chance to visit there, try their vegetable Gyoza, Terykaki, Shashimi and Sushi!!! So GOOD!

I visited many Japanese restaurant. Me and my friends visited Mikado for my friend's birthday and we loved X3 Mikado.They has the best fresh sushi and sashimi ever!
They had so many special rolls and we ordered about 6 speciall rolls and it was SO AMAZING!!!!
We loved it. We ate a lot there and they gave us a free deserts and free sushi pizza for my friend! I really recommend who ever see this review please please try visiting there you'll love this place! And PLEASE TRY theire Kani salad, Tempura, beef teriyaki,nabe udon, kiss me roll,gotrain roll, teasure island roll, double shrimp and red bean ice cream. They became our favourite restaurant!! We Loved there so much.
The service is excellent, friendly and quick. The atmosphere is very nice as well.
The food, however, is average.
The sushi that we've tried was below even all-you-can-eat standards, not to mention a regular sushi restaurant. There was no wasabi holding together the nigiri (like it's supposed to in real sushi), and the wasabi that was served was actually weak horseradish made to look like wasabi. Overall, the sushi didn't taste all that great. The udon wasn't well-tasting either.
The tempura, and the miso soup and salad appetizers were good.
I am surprised at all the high ratings for this restaurant. I have not tried non-sushi dishes (except the udon), but the sushi I've tasted there are below average.
I went to this restuarnat yesterday for the first time for my sister's birthday. I tried different sushi places but it was the most pleasure experience i've ever had. Their foods were very fresh including salads, meats, and of course fish. each one of us ordered different menus and we shared it altogether. The food was quick. The restaurant was pretty quiet and cozy. What i liked the most was that we got a free sushi pizza with a candle on it for my sister! We didn't mention that this was for her birthday and the server suddenly brought a sushi cake. We also got delicious green tea ice cream and vanila ice cream as deserts on the house. We genuinely enjoyed everything and it became our go to restaurant. For those of you who are also going to try their foods, make sure to try Lemon chicken , Dolsot bibimbap, Crunchy rolls, and chef's roll. It was realllly great.
Mikados has the best fresh sushi rolls around they serve many fine dishes that would please any connoisseur . If you havent tried dessert yet try some green tea ice cream its great

now im not one to normally eat fish but i was recommended to try their bbq salmon and it was outstanding i have never had tastier fish before they also do amazing rolls like calafornia rolls dynamite rolls and crunchy rolls they do lemon chicken which is great as well and for those that like spicy food the spicy chicken is a must try

i tried somthing new here im not one for calaforina rolls but i decided to try the dynomite roll and the crunchy roll and wow did they ever surprise me they are amazing i especially enjoyed the crunchy roll which was not somtheing you would normally fing me eating but i thuroghly enjoyed it. Another thing that is deffinitly a good thing to try is the kimchi, once again i dont like cabbage but this was a plant like cabbage that was like pickled in this spicy sauce oh my it was good it is my favorite thing now. give these a try they will rock your taste buds!

When ever I go there with my family I always feel like I am part of the family. The location is great, right beside the lake to have an after-meal-walk. The food is amazing though, great tempura and teriyaki!
My girlfriend and I dine here quite often. The atmosphere is outstanding!! Tanya and Joseph treat you like family when you are there, making the experience truly real!! They look after you the minute you walk in the door!!
