They used to have the best F C the last time the meal was off so i stayed away for awhile
Went back today and i will not be returning even with drinking pop the fish was so dry i could hardley swallow it.
What ever happened to this place from the once upon time being the best to if you think the food here is good you havent had good fish and chips
Honestly frozen supermarket are better
best fish and chips in town! I have been a huge fan of Caz's since my first visit. I always look forward to having a delicious meal! I've yet to be disappointment!
Worst what was described as halibut ever!!! Ordered as takeout when I arrived home I as a cook I could tell it had been deep fried twice (maybe to make the batter crispier or whatever) the batter was only covering parts of the filet and when handle just fell off. To make matters worse it was drenched in oil and definitely not halibut.
Was offered no apology over the phone just a reassurance it was indeed halibut.
The fries were mediocre but the mystery meat flipped its way into the trash
Don't waste your hard earned money
Sometimes it's the best you've ever had, sometimes you let them know how crumby it is. Sometimes the fries are raw, sometimes my Mom & I order the exact same thing and one portion of fish is twice the size of the other one. I always go with a coupon, so if it's not the best ever, oh well. PS- Good coleslaw... usually.
The food was some of the worst CRAP my wife & I have ever been subjected to. I would rather go hungry than get free food at this dump. What once was an icon in the fish & chip industry has fallen to the bottom of the pit! The waitress was GREAT! The beer was cold! NEVER AGAIN...
I love Caz in Mississauga, but I visited the one at 10 Pinebush in Cambridge and it was terrible. We got there at 8:00 on Sat. July 31, 2010. The fish was either overcooked or cooked twice and the fries were the same. Very oily and somewhat rancid fish and fries mean that I and my wife will never return there. The waitress did offer another piece of fish, but I was so hungry I ate it. Unfortunately I had stomach problems later.
