So... this has got to be the WORST roti and doubles that I have ever eaten in my entire life (and I have consumed more than my fair share of Trini food). I ordered a chicken roti and a few doubles. The roti (dhal puri) shell was chewy, glutinous and there were barely any split pea filling in it. The meat was not seasoned at all and tasted and looked like it was rotisserie chicken rather than curry chicken. The dough on the doubles was paper thin and gummy in texture and there were hardly any c
West Indian and Caribbean food is supposed to be tasty or something but what I found here was greasy, suspect and the joint was not clean. Disappointed in that habit.
Always friendly,good service.May be busy,but;sure beats going in to a place where the tables are empty,and,nobody waiting.If there's a line-up,its for a reason,and in this case it's for the food.Why this other person got the unfriendly service,not sure,but;so far,never had a bad experience there.

I came across roti and loved it - it was out of curiousity more than anything and glad I tried it. I introduced my son to roti and he's hooked. Roti Roti has delicious roti - it's fresh, tasty, tender and just plain delicious!! There is a slight wait for your order, but it's being prepared while you wait - nothing is under a heat lamp or old/stale. It's well worth the wait and the money. The staff are busy and friendly. I'm french canadian and treated wonderfully in there.

This restaurant is one of my favourites. The food is delicious and the fact that you can SEE YOUR FOOD being prepared puts me at ease. The 3 young women who helped me out were very polite and patient, the day I visited happened to be a Tuesday, which is a very busy day there! The food reminded me of being back home, it tasted just like my Mom's. From what the woman who cashed me out said, her mother prepares almost everything in the store. Dedication is what makes a business like this work. My favourite was the cocount drops, AMAZING!!...you would never find another place that makes them like this. Overall, I will definitely continue to frequent this restaurant. They are wonderful owners, and a wonderful family. Happy New Years, and all the best in 2008 Roti-Roti!

I have been going to this reatuarant since I was about 4 years old and I can remember going there to eat out every sunday after church. It is a special treat for my family.I find it nice that a family can still go out to eat at a sit-in restaurant and not be worried about the environment their children are in. I fing the staff at Roti Roti helpful because often people who are not familiar with the food must order but don't know how, and the staff are only too eager to help them make a decision.
