Opinion Matters To Whom

When i go to an eatery, i like to have pleasant personalities deal with me. It lacked today at this restaurant. Ordered breakfast and had coffee while i waited. When i got the meal, the potatoes were cold and when asked how the meal was i complained about the potatoes and there was no response and she just walked away. I finished the meal and walked to the cash and again was asked how everything was and i told her about the meal and again seemed indifferent to it all. As for this restaurant i'm very disappointed and don't recommend it to anyone.

The worst Manager ever

The Manager of this Restaurant is so rude and unfriendly that could destroy the nice day of anyone even easygoing people like me, and also only few waitress are kind and polite. I used to go chez cora's in Kanata many times with my family and even with friends from abroad, because I like the decoration and the good food but the BAD MANNERS OF THE MANAGER make me fell no longer interested to go back to that place and I decided it on the day of my birthday.

I don't get the attraction to this place. Some people swear by it and I just swear because of it. We waited almost 25 minutes before being seated. After being seated we waited close to 10 minutes for a server to come by the table. The food was okay at best, with the biggest problem being it was not very hot when dropped off at the table. The yolks in the benedict were almost solid. I believe the heat lamp they sat under probably did them in. A cold spinach and cheese omelette is in fact difficult to eat. We thought of retuning a couple of the plates for warmer and better prepared versions but the server never stopped by the table to see how everything wasn't. Needless to say the coffee refill remained empty on the edge of the table. We did stop another server who said she would get our server but we never saw either of them again until she appeared with our bill. The experience would not have been worth it for half the cost so the exorbitant prices were just one more bad memory. I'm also of the opinion that if you're going to put so much fruit on my plate it should be: a) fresher than this stuff ... and b) complimentary to the other food on the plate. The barrage of fruit easily reached the point of gimmicky decoration. One last thing, if you are going to advertise "Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice" and charge for "Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice" it should be "Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice" not the concentrated swill they gouged us for.

Dissappointed

Coras serves food that ranges from quite good to pretty bad. I dine there frequesntly because I am building a house and have to eat out. Cora offers an abundance of fresh fruit with most meals. That is the up side. The down side is that the illusion of healthy food falls short with the use of processed cheese and drinks. The menu offers fresh squeezed orange juice. It is not. The fresh fruit cocktail drinks seems to also be some sort of pre packaged product. These have the unmistakable bite of rancid fermentation that fresh juices do not have. While there, I have never heard the whirl of a blender or juicer. Now, most restaurants serve juice that is processed, but Coras boasts FRESH SQUEEZED juice. Not a bad restaurant, just be careful what you order. Twice, I was told by a server that their juices are fresh, then finally they fessed up that they are packaged at head office and are not fresh at all. They need to change the wording on their menus.
