Christmas Party menu: Roast Beef was called, mushrooms were cold ,apple pie wasn't the greatest, vegetables were called, good atmosphere. I did mention it to the waiteress but she didn't seem concerned or follow up with me. Overpriced placed.

Frank will treat you right.

NOTE, ALL DAY BREAKFAST!! Jimmy's lunch is like going over to a friends house for lunch, who just happens to be an awesome cook! Frank's bacon is the best bacon you'll ever have. The atmosphere is a big jovial family. The diner hasn't been updated in 50 years, so it's a major throw back, but it's clean and you can tell that the owners love the place. The breakfast for $5.95 has three awesome eggs, awesome bacon, home fries and hot buttered toast. SO GOOD!!! Lunch, try the awesome burger with bacon, cheese and the works for less than $7.

Jimmy's is a one of a kind restaurant. This is no chain establishment. If you're looking for spiffy decor, this place is not it. It's old, rundown but oozing with history, character and characters, chief them Hal "the people's pal" Mattson, a local lawyer and defender of the poor and indigent. My Western was huge and delicious, garnished by generous helpings of cole slaw and tomatoes. If you want coffee, you just go and help yourself. It's a drop-in type place straight out of a TV sitcom. Jerry, the owner, can barely get around, but he gets the job done. Check out the funny sayings on the walls too. This was Kitchener's first 24-hour restaurant. Chuck Berry was rumored to have dined here after a concert. But years ago it switched to just handling the breakfast and lunch crowd. A visit to Jimmy's is like a trip into a David Lynch movie, without the weirdness. Everybody is friendly.

This place has authentic fifties diner decor and appeal, but not because they are looking for a trendy "retro" look, but because they just never upgraded since the fifties! The food is not bad, but they have not updated that either, so if you're looking for a heart attack on a plate, you've found the right place!! I will definately be back soon!!!
