Today was my first time using any cleaning service. Charlina and Tracey did an outstanding job on our apartment. It’s never looked so good. In an hour I a half, they thoroughly cleaned walls, floors, counters, sinks, the tub, garbages...and more. Plus they vacuumed. Our place sparkles! Best of all, they were so friendly and fun to have in our home.
DO NOT HIRE! Sparkles was a very difficult company to work with. Upon arriving 2 hours early without notice, we came home to $2000 worth of stuff missing. After trying to handle this civilly, management was slow to respond, and was unwilling to resolve the issue. There were personal items gone, toiletries, hair/skin products and decor taken. Furthermore, the cleaning job was sub-par. Baseboards were left untouched, fridges uncleaned and shelves un-wiped. I do NOT recommend working with them.
Couldn't be any happier with my experience with Sparkles. The office managers are super friendly and accommodated my schedule to have cleaning done every 2 weeks. When the ladies came out, they were very professional and polite and left my home literally sparking! Would be happy to recommend this company to my friends and family.
I used to own a house cleaning service so I know first hand the challenges of having teams be consistent in their cleaning and also the "demands" of the clients. I am very happy with the quality of Sparkles service - I communicate to the team if there are specifics I want focused on and if things are missed or not up to my standards I just let me know. Heck when I do it I don't get it all perfect every time.
I have had Sparkles clean my house on 3 occasions. The last time they cleaned will be the last time they clean my house. I came home to streaks all over the stove top, the floors were poorly vacuumed (all floors) but the most infuriating of all was the person who cleaned my stainless steel appliances was wearing rings and made swooping scratches all over the fridge!!!! I then opened the fridge door and found one of the shelves was cracked. After arriving home to find this, I immediately called the owner who then came out the next day. He said he couldn't see what I was seeing, said his girls didn't break the shelf and then accused me of trying to milk him to fix things that I had done to my own appliances. I explained to him that I clean houses for a living and decided to take a break and have someone clean my house, and I know better than to wear rings while cleaning stainless steel.
I have never heard from him again. NICE WAY TO TREAT A CUSTOMER!!! So beware out there. I would not let them clean my house for free!!! (I didn't want to give them one star for rating purposes but you had to.)
I recently received a 3 hour cleaning gift certificate from a friend and I have to admit it was the best present I have ever received. The staff at Sparkles were so pleasant and did such a great job that I decided to "pay it forward" and bought a gift certificate for another friend.
