Our company began operations as European Fine Foods Co. in 1986 in response to the need for Polish flavours in Toronto during one of the biggest immigration waves from Poland in Canadian history.The company was a result of the entrepreneurial spirit and a longing, our founder, Jozef Szczepanik* had for familiar tastes of his mother's kitchen. 'Jak Babci' (Like Grandma's) was the way he described to his children, the products he approved for his new line.The result is a varied selection of products for the everyday kitchen which meets the needs of the Canadian ethnic and specialty market. Our products are moderately priced but rich in flavour. Today, over twenty years later, they are enjoyed by a loyal clientele and are discovered by new clients daily.
