East Side Mario's

We went there for lunch a couple weeks ago. No greeter at the door. We waited for a bit then honked the horn. Waited another couple minutes - still no one so we went in and seated ourselves. Waiter came over and took our drink order. Fifteen minutes later, he hadn't returned so I asked someone to get him as we wanted to order. He came and took our order but still no drinks! We all ordered the soup/salad/bread all you can eat meal. They brought one loaf of bread over shortly after and we ate that while waiting for our food. Food came - we each had a bowl of soup and one communal salad bowl. We asked for more bread to go with the soup - that never came. We ate the soup and salad and waited thinking given it was all you can eat there would be refills but nope! I asked twice for more salad and more bread and didn't receive either. I spoke to the manager before we left and he comped us one meal. One serving of soup and one shared serving of salad and bread. Definitely NOT all you can eat.

We were greeted at the door by a respectful very friendly young woman named kirsten, then brought to our nice roomy comfortable booth at the side of the restaurant. we were greeted by our server straight away, Tina, who Brought our first round of drinks. Once we saw the menu we ordered nice and quickly, the menu was quite detailed. Salad and bread was brought to our table and the feast began. when tina brought our food to the table i joked that i might have to take it home. I was able to eat a couple of pieces and she kindly packed the rest up for me. I enjoyed the NY theme in this resaurant. I will return to this east side mario's often i had a great time and felt like i was a guest in their home. Richard Locke
