East Side Mario's

Not a great selection on the menu, there used to be more. 4 choices for desserts. Atmosphere was very non inviting. The place needs an entire facelift. Very tired and dingy. Could at least put some money into coloured photocopied menus. Perhaps paint the place. The glass in the windows have broken seals. The place looks dirty.

Night started out great..and went downhill fast..service was okay, friendly..not terribly informed..atmosphere a bit bright and noisy. Salad good..fresh..Hells Kitchen dinner...not fresh..tomatoes old..chicken not well seasoned...and luke-warm..disappointing.. Spaghetti also luke-warm..lacked flavour and herbs as named suggested.hardly ate..asked to take home. Didnt complain to server but paid for dinner and left a great tip..dispite our impressions. Called and spoke with Jen ..who was great...

I went to east side Marios with my 4 children this evening. the waitress brought one coloring set for my 4 children to use. They politely requested more, which were brought. The bread took over 10 min to come to the table. Then they forgot our soup and salad. The waitress brought out our food. When I reminded her we had no soup or salad yet, she tried to bring it out after my pasta. I had to tell her my pasta would be cold by the time I was done by soup. I had to ask her to remove dirty dishes

last saturday nit...

last saturday nite went for drinks and snacks. service was extremely slow and menu very limited. I had to approach bar for napkins and another drink. food was lste and bland. drunken customers and an excessive bill was the final straw. I won't go back again . Dave B. Pembr pemboke. ontario

Too loud, food is not great

For a place called East-Side Mario's, you would think they could at least make a good pizza. Mostly pasta dishes served here. The music is so loud, not a good place to relax and have a fun conversation. Chairs are uncomfortable. Serving staff are not bad. Fair salads.

FAIL!

The meal I had was well below par. How do you screw up spaghetti, at an "Italian" restaurant??? I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and after a long wait it finally arrived, at room temperature and was barely fit for swine. The sauce had a fat, greasy texture and the spaghetti was a sopping, sticky mess. For the price, the proportion was extremely small. $32.00 for greasy, bad tasting spaghetti, mediocre soup. And that bread! OMG! What is this stuff supposed to be? It's like a hot piece of styrofoam with butter on it! You know that iodine smell that the glasses sometimes have at a bar or restaurant when not rinsed properly? That's what this bread smalls like and tastes like too. I have been to this place three times now and have not been impressed at any time. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I don't even know why I bother with restaurants in this town anyway. They have no clue here, really!

fantastic service fantastic food

east side marios in pembroke is my favourite place to go, the food is great and the service is fantastic! i am a regular and enjoy that every visit is consistent, fabulous food, service and atmosphere. it is a great place to take your family because you are treated like family! one thing i would ask of east side marios is to please, please bring back the angel hair pasta!
