East Side Mario's

Enjoyed the food and service here. My only complaint with east sides is that there is so much food, which for many is not a complaint! The endless bread and salad really is a bit much and I can see it being a very wasteful process. I ordered a very basic dinner of spaghetti and meatballs but took the majority of it home as I was already full.

No one's perfect...but I love East Side's

Ok...maybe it's not exactly my best meal ever, but I've recently fallen in love with this place. Great food and everything else is reasonable. That is what I want in a restaurant. I've been here many times and never had a bad experience. I recommend the budda boomers.

Worst Food in the World

Worst food in the world! Place should close down! Was supposed to have well done steak, the steak was not cooked at all. the shrimp that came with the steak had shell on, and was burnt. veges were bla no taste. wings, were small and bla as well. service was good, but they need to hire new cooks in the back!

We were greated by the host at the door with a welcoming smile (a change from not being noticed for a few minutes). We were seated at a booth by our request. Our server was very friendly and suggested the sausage and pepper penne for my wife who by the way loved it. Needless to say we will be back and bring more of our friends.

20-25 minutes is average wait times on Friday Evenings. Host was friendly. My 9 year old son accompanied me for dinner, however, one detail was overlooked upon being seated, the host forgot to give my son a colouring kit (standard offering at restaurants). We had to ask for colouring kit. Our waitress, Rebecca seemed friendly at first. She took our order right away. I asked for salad as part of the all-you-can-eat option. When the salad was brought to our table, Rebecca did not offer fresh pepper or grated cheese, usually offered and a nice feature at East Side Mario's. A non-server brought the pepper and cheese to my table upon my request. Rebecca, our waitress did not return to our table after bringing the salad and drinks. The next time she returned was to ask if I preferred to take home my leftover pasta. She did not offer refills on the salad, bread or drinks eventhough she observed our empty glassses and salad bowl or neither did she offer to bring my son his dessert (part of kid's meal). Again we had to request for these items. Rebecca did not inquire if I wanted dessert or offer coffee after my meal. I felt an uneasiness around her. Needless to say, it was a dissapointing dining experince at East Side Mario's. _______________________________
