We have eaten at the Quarry for many years, usually for breakfast, but occasionally for lunch and dinner. We used too live a walk's distance away, but even though we've moved from the neighborhood still drop down. It's decent food, good portions and we've always found, good service. We have found that on events such as Mothers or Fathers days there will be lineup, but you generally don't have to wait to long to seated.
My only criticism, is that they could use 1 more serving staff in the morning on these occasions. That being said, meals seem to get to you in not too bad a time. And......they keep that coffee cup filled up.
I'm going to address what I read in the other thread on this place. Like I said, I have been to the Quarry many times and have seen countless children there in my visits . I have 2 children (teenagers now) that we have taken there since they were infants. They, and us, were always made to feel welcome, and valued customers. I don't doubt the women's story, but never have I seen anything like it happen.
Stay away from this place! Especially if you have little ones! I have gone for breakfast and the service was pretty good and the food not terrible, its pretty hard to mess up breakfast! I decided to go for dinner and the service was horrible, as well as the food. Not to mention they complained that my 15month old through a bit of food on the floor and the owner, also the cook came out and told me that I need to start teaching my child how to behave now! And then he started to lecture my baby! I understand the little guy through food on the floor, he does it all day long at home and we clean it up and tell him its wrong! Of course he laughs since he really doesnt get it yet!!! However this is suppose to be a family place! Where families can feel comfortable! I was so upset I said forget the pumpkin pie and paid and was about to leave! I didnt tip because it was sso horrible, then the waitress called me on it and said so what! Because he said that you, you dont tip me! I was crying now! and actually gave her 10 bucks because I was shaking and couldnt do the math!! It was horrible! They should be shut down! Please support other places that love and understand families! I wish This experience didnt happen and I wish the owner wasnt the owner cause i cant imagine an owner acting this way in the service industry!

A nice place to get a decent breakfast! I usually get the steak & eggs. Pretty good for under 10 dollars! Outdoor patio is nice in the summer too!
Service is a little slow and the portions could be bigger but then I guess the price would go up.

Poor service? NOPE! I love the food at this cafe, they are HUGE orders, I have been many times. The waitress is absolutely fantastic! Always smiling and always offers dessert. To the person who made the comment "waitress looks rough?" Who are you to make a comment on "personal appearance?" You dont know if she has 5 children at home and works 3 jobs! You should be ashamed of that comment, I think she would be sad to read that on here.
My dr''s office is in this plaza and even when I dont have a drs appt I drop by for dinner.
Great burgers, but the service is a little lax. Waitresses look rough and hair should be tied back. Shouldn't have to ask for refills or wait for gravy, but all in all, not so bad.
My partner and I both ordered succulent hamburgers and golden crisp cut french fries that were superb. Although, our service was very poor and our waitress did not allow us the opportunity to order a piece of delicious apple pie.
