I brought my wedding dress here for alterations, and was beyond disappointed. Throughout the process I kept pointing out holes in the lace, and was told to take in the dress they had to remove and then replace the lace appliques. When we picked up the dress, and not only was it full of holes, but they had fused the lace overlay on one side of the bust to the underlayer of the dress. It was completely ruined, and I had to find another dress 4 months before my wedding!
I took my wedding dress to As You Like It to because it was recommended by Becker's Bridal, but I was very unhappy with the results. The dress was not sufficiently taken in so that on my wedding day the dress kept sliding down and revealing the corset underneath and the bustle wasn't completed. The alterations of the Maid of Honour's dress were also poor. One of the side seams, right above the hip, was bunched and the other seams were puckered. To top it off, we were charged a lot for this low quality work. I honestly wish I had taken my dress somewhere else.

Worst experience ever. Unskilled alterations, unorganized, no concept of customer service and manipulative. Julia was right not to accept payment for the wedding dress that was with her for 7 weeks and still unfinished 3 days before my wedding. No apology for repeatedly forgetting our scheduled appointments. AND she had the nerve to call the alterations place I took the dress to (with only 3 days to go) and demand that I pay her AFTER she already refused. Overpriced and crazy.
