Way too over priced for what you get. Small portions, could barely believe it. Was not tasty, very bland in flavour. This place is overrated. Server was arrogant and snobby, not welcoming at all. Manager was more interested in flirting with the female customers next to our table. Table are so close, feels like you're dining with the couple next to you. Would not go back!

Best seafood restaurants in Toronto

Best seafood restaurants in Toronto

Just walking into Joso’s you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to the Croatian coast of Dalmatia. Original owner, Joso Spralja, immigrated to Canada in the ‘60s and quickly opened the doors to Joso’s within a few years, and it has been busy ever since. Taking inspiration from seafood dishes from around the world, the menu is a cornucopia of the finest seafood in Toronto.

Joso’s is the full, sea-world experience – from the vibes to the food. Inspired by Croatia’s Dalmatian coast, the space is decorated with Roman-esque sculptures and art of the female form, plus sea shells and treasures galore – it will make you feel like you’ve escaped to somewhere tropical (even the patio feels otherworldly). They serve lunch and dinner, and the menu does not disappoint. From fried calamari to grilled octopus, your seafood taste buds will be in full force. They also offer spaghetti and risotto dishes, and sharable plates, too.
