    Best Tzatziki Sauce!

This place has the BEST Tzatziki sauce ever, it is SO good. I always get extra servings and put it on everything, because it tastes amazing with all the flavours. My friend and I usually get the same thing and share. Their portions are reasonable sizes for the prices they offer. I love that they come with rice and salad :) The server is also friendly and is always smiling eventhough he is conservative. Their interior reflects warm tones and even the patio is a good place to eat. Try the stuffed eggplant, it is absolutely delicious! My absolute favourite :) Hands down, the best middle eastern cuisine in KW!

    Recommend trying authentic Turkish dishes

We've been there a few times mainly for Turkish food (the owner is Turkish) and it was pretty good. Vibrancy native to Turkish cuisine is impossible to come by anywhere in North America and I think this place has one of the better selections of Turkish dishes. The reason I come there is lahmacun, a thin piece of dough topped with minced meat. It comes with a small salad you're supposed to put on top of lahmacun. Even though I've preferred the meat to be more spicy, it's still very good. I also love the yogurt dressing and lemon juice they use in salad, it makes it very light and refreshing. Some commented that their meat wraps lack sauce and substance to it, but it's actually the exact way they're supposed to taste like - without sauce to be "able to really taste the flavor of the meat" as Turks say it. Although I am personally not a fan, it's very authentic they way they make it. Kofte, meat balls, are pretty good or I should rather say pretty darn close to what they're supposed to taste like if you're somewhere Turkey. Although, not spicy enough for my taste. We also tried some sausage pide, it's made with special sausage called sujuk. Personally I'm not a fan of the sausage itself, but the dish was done well. I like the atmosphere overall, it's seems like a nice place to chill, eat some food and smoke some hookah. I also wish they had a better selection of alcohol. The service is alright. I like the owner, he seems like a friendly guy, but I haven't had much luck with the waitresses who work there. TV is completely unnecessary. Overall, I'd definitely recommend going to try some authentic dishes such as pide, lahmacun, kofte, grilled meat, but I'd stay away from other European dishes like penne and lasagna as they are trying to appeal to a wider population.

    good quality

Great quality of meat, very fresh, friendly and polite servers. The portion is just right and they didn't take to long. Great meal in between classes, too.

    Good Food, Slow Service

The interior of this place is quite nice, and if it was not for the gory action movie on AMC blasting in the background this would have been a pleasant place to have lunch. The staff did not seem to be phased with the fact that there were dead people on TV while those still alive were trying to have lunch. They seemed more preoccupied with how to get the good out of the kitchen as slow as possible. It seemed to have taken forever, but perhaps 30 minutes and the mains actually came through. Piggy started with the baba ganoush which was a bit of a surprise. I wish that the roasted eggplant was a bit softer and had more of a smoky taste, but I suppose it was grilled on a gas flame which would not give it that much flavor. It was quite refreshing, and made with something like sour cream. I also thought that it lacked the middle eastern flavor, a bit of tahini would have really added that. The oil which was drizzled on top was also not an olive oil but perhaps some lighter vegetable oil which lacked flavor. The baba was served with 4 thick pieces of bread similar to focaccia, and I would have expected a pita bread instead. The feta and spinach "cigarettes', although a funny name were well made and quite delicious. They were not made of traditional phyllo pastry but rather a thicker, perhaps hand rolled version which gave it a bit more authenticity. The mixed grill was well made and came with the most delicious serving of rice which I though was the best thing on the menu. The salad was also okay although slightly under dressed. The meats were good, and the best one was the Kofta which is minced meat with spices, similar to a burger. The pita bread which was under all these items became quite soggy and appeared slightly lighter and less cooked than what I am used to. The wrap which consisted of grilled chicken and veggies did not have enough sauce or substance to it and the ends were kind of dry. It used the same white pita as the mixed grill. The chicken schnitzel looked and tasted fantastic, I think that was the best option of the 3. The breading was fresh and crunchy , and the chicken meat was deliciously tender and juicy.

    One of Waterloo's hidden treasures.

Upon entering the restaurant it looked very nice but we were a little put off because there were no other customers. But we had read good reviews and decided to stay, which we were glad we did. The food was excellent, nice sized portions, and the prices were very reasonable. The food came hot, and fresh to our table. They also offer sheesha for those who enjoy smoking hookah. My only complaint was the service was a little slow. But not so slow that we were put off by it. So if you want a great meal, for cheap. This is the place for you.

    Hm....

It was sorta "Okay" restaurant. I visited once with my girl friend. The food was nice. I do not know very much of Italian, but I say it's a good place for students who loves Italian.
