Lumberjack Restaurant

What delicious food! We had the Mixed Platter for Two. It was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. Our server was busy but very friendly and our food did not take longer than expected. Nice atmosphere too! I like that the chef cooks on a grill in the dining room. Very cool.

Would give it a minus 5 stars if i could. Waited half hour. They served four tables of whom arrived after us. Completely ignored us. When i asked for the manager i waited for another several minutes. When she came out she gave me attitude and said she didn't see us. I said we looked at her and all the other waiters whom looked right at us, but all she had to say that we should have whistled or something to get their attention. No apology or any compensation offered for the terrible treatment.

great food friendly service.

Food was great, i had pancakes with bacon and the spiced home fries, and my wife had the eggs benedict. You get your own pot of coffee, and the coffee is good. service was very friendly and fast. after we got our food the service slowed but i was in no rush so not that big a deal.

Great breakfasts plus

I always go to the Lumberjack after fasting for a blood test as it is kitty-corner to a medical lab. It's a treat for me to go to there. Their wait staff are professional and I like the food. I don't recommend going on a Sunday at noon because there's usually a line-up out the door. This place is popular. I've had their steak before, eggs benedicts, rueben sandwhich... and I love the way they give you a personal coffee carafe (that holds three or four cups) when you order "a" coffee. The last time I was there I had an "Italian" omelette which had prosciutto, tomatoes, swiss and mozzarella cheese, onions and green pepper. I look forward to trying more on the menu. The restaurant is open concept and busy. They have antique lumberjack utensils decorating the walls. If you go to there, make sure you have a good appetite because they bring you lots to eat.

Bad Service, Cold and wrong Food

I did go with my coworker to Lumberjack, he told me that their Food is superior. We finally did go in and we did seat on a Table after waiting for 10 minutes the waitress did finally decide to bring us the Menu and ask what we want to drink. She came back with the Drinks another 10 minutes later after i thought she did got lost somewhere on here way to the bar or so. She asked in a very rude manner what we would like to eat. I ordered a French Onion Soup and then i would liked to have a Burger with no Lettuce or Tomatoes. So after waiting another 5 min we got our Soup and wow if I wanted cold soup I had brought a Can of Soup with me, so I asked to please get a Hot Soup and not to be warmed up in the Microwave, she snapped at me and said they would not do that. So she brought the same ( and yes it was not a new Soup) back to me just a little warmer then before. Though well i was hungry like a Lumberjack so i ate that one, she brought me the burger and again lettuce on there as well tomatoes. That was enough for me I asked for the manager and told him that i would not like to have that food anymore since that was the final for me. COLD SOUP, WRONG CONDIMENTS, BAD SERVICE, All in all though they did not even apologize and made me pay for everything . I defiantly will not recommend this Restaurant to anyone at all I rather advise them to stay away from there. You get a better and friendlier service at a Fast Food Restaurant

I usually always like the food when i visit the Lumberjack. But i usually find the service is below par. There are a couple of really good ladies there that really connect and take care of their customers, but others its almost like they're too busy to ask how everything is. Ive ordered the Steak Sandwich which is good, and the Camp house Sandwich which is one of my favorites. I only ever get a clubhouse when i come to the lumberjack. Their salad bar is good, but a little pricey to add to a meal. I love their Homemade Ice Tea, but i wish it was either a little cheaper, or bottomless. I find their menu VERY disorganized with too many pictures, and headings and i think a general restaurant update would be very beneficial.

enjoyable meals

my mom brought me here for dinner when i first tried The Lumberjack otherwise, i wouldn't have given it a second glance. i was fairly surprised to hear she liked it so i agreed to try it out. we had steak, which was tasted great and at a good price. my second time consisted of brunch with my friends for a birthday. again, i was impressed by my mushroom and cheddar cheese omelette with toast and tasty homefries. the price was fairly reasonable and the meal filled me up nicely. i'm hoping to visit again soon.

Really good steak!

We had a really good time visiting the Lumberjack. My husband had the 16oz steak and it was very good, he enjoyed it a lot. We also shared a poutine and it was the best I've ever had! I tried the Yukon Club and it was good. The service was just ok, but prices are good, food is great so we will definitly go again.
