You have to go all the way south of the city to find the Soeurs Grises, but they're worth it! First course: smoked duck breast carpaccio, chickpea and beetroot hummus or smoked pepper cream, with mini grilled-cheese sandwiches. Followed by a maple-smoked salmon steak, a waffle au gratin with duck leg confit or white pudding with sweetbreads. Topped off with a chocolate and jam Beeramisu, a pouding chômeur with maple syrup or dates stuffed with goat cheese, cranberries and walnuts. Like being at home, but different.- 21$

Go atone for your sins by tasting one of the many house beers. If we had to name just one, we’d go straight for the Amère supérieure (Best Bitter), for its fantastic name and its extraordinary flavour with hints of spruce.

Here you can try hash brown-style potatoes cooked in duck fat with shredded pork, BBQ sauce and maple syrup. Not forgetting the Charlevoix cheese, sour cream and green onions, of course. And the sauce? Beer-based with venison reduction.
