Born out of the minds of industry veterans, Restaurant Chō brings together the team that made up the late trendy Ginger, located on the Plateau. The ownership group consists of business partners, friends, and even patrons who populated their earlier venture. Co-owner and manager Jeremy Hufana says, “Saint-Henri is one of the up and coming places to be”. When Hufana describes how they decided on their new location, he continues, “When we first saw the place we were just in love with the whole concept. The restaurant was all windows. It felt very ‘come on in’.”
Here’s where you’ll find Asian comfort food at its best! In fact, Cho blends Asian and Quebec inspirations to deliver exceptional fusion cuisine. Seafood, meat, buns and tofu: there is something for everyone. Plus, in summer the terrace is always full until late at night.
Fresh on the scene is Chō, an Asian fusion tapas restaurant. This restaurant is welcome in the St-Henri dining scene, as it’s the only Asian style restaurant in the neighbourhood. They even serve their twist on a Quebec classic — the poutine. Their rendition includes fries topped with kimchi, cheddar, scallions and braised beef.
