Food was okay, nothing special or bad about it. The service was horrible however. I got huge attitude form the staff because I messed up the tip amount due the fact that it was cash only. He condescendingly told me "this is what you wanted to do" and took an amount of the change as tips as he looked away while rolling his eyes. I was exhausted and enraged so I just left. I will never go back again. If one you ever does go, bring cash and prepare to tip, otherwise get ready to get attitude.

Try some revisited comfort food in Montreal

Remember when your mom made you soup to feel better? Well, she knew what she was doing! And so does Cote-des-Neiges’ Pho Lien, a Vietnamese restaurant serving arguably the best pho in Montreal. What makes this pho so great is the broth, which takes several hours to make. The pho is made with beef broth, rice noodles and green onions, plus you can always add rare beef, cooked beef, brisket or chicken. A dish of bean sprouts, mint and lime wedges are served so you can flavour your pho as you like.

Top Vietnamese restaurants in Montreal

Top Vietnamese restaurants in Montreal

Montreal isn’t on par with Toronto and Vancouver when it comes to Asian cuisine in general, but we give them a run for their money when it comes to Vietnamese food. Whether you’re downtown, further west, or close to Jean-Talon Market, there is some fantastic pho and delicious bahn mi to be had in this town.

Slurp up the goodness at these Montreal pho restaurants

Always packed but with quick service, here is another Montreal pho favourite. The broth is always excellent and the noodles perfectly cooked. Try the Pho Dac Biet, aka the combo with everything.
