I've gone to this Kelsey's several times now, and each time I've been very pleased with the food and service. The waitresses are always down-to-earth and friendly, the food is prepared very fast, and consistently good. I love the Four Cheese Spinach Dip appetizer, though they've changed the dipping bread to a baked variety that isn't quite as good (though apparently healthier for you). I normally always get the Club Wrap Platter after sharing the Spinach Dip with my girlfriend (the appetizer and platter would be too much for the average person, definitely best to have to someone to share the dip with). I've never been disappointed going here, and if you're looking for a dinner/movie type thing, they have a deal with Cineplex South Keys so you can walk right over after your meal. This Kelsey's is definitely my favorite chain restaurant to visit. The consistency in food/service means I'll keep going back! Read more

I have to prempt everything that I am going to say with I did enjoy the food so much that I may go there again for dinner (am on contract in the area). The hot and sour sea-food soup appeared to be small, but when the flavours filled my mouth, and I discovered 3 large cleaned shrimp (only tail bit remaining) I'm happy to say I'm quite pleased with this selection. The mango salad was not available as a 'plain' mango salad, but also came with shrimp, making it $5-$7 more than I usually pay for mango salad. Again the shrimp were large, clean and fresh (good 'bite', not soggy at all), but the dressing seemed made at the last minute and didn't contain the rich complexity that the soup did. I recently decided to go to Pubwells Restaurant after being recommended a few times by good friends of mine, and to be honest, I wish I went sooner! The first time I went was for breakfast, which was absolutely the best breakfast i've had at any restaurant to date. I had the french toast with fresh fruit (server told me the bread is homemade fresh weekly and I could tell!) and my husband had the salmon egg benedict which was equally fantastic. Since visiting for breakfast, I've been a handful of times, for lunch and dinner. Enjoying the variety of pizzas, daily specials and on tap beer. There's a new soup daily (also homemade) and i've become especially attached to the calzone specials. The service is friendly and the environment is just right. The hockey games brings in a crowd and so does chilly weekend mornings. Overall this place is by far my favorite restaurant in Ottawa. Read more
