Look up wet cleaning and youll see its so much better than dry cleaning and a better for the environment!

Esteem Cleaning is Not Highly Esteemed!

I have now used this dry cleaner twice. Both times were for long winter dress coats. One of the coats is a 100 percent cashmere and the 100 percent wool. The first drop off and return for my very expensive coat, I was not impressed because the coat came back with hair all over it! I was actually really disgusted with it and very surprised that this cleaner would give the customer their coat back in this condition. I did not notice my coat had all this hair on it until I got home because Esteem places a long plastic cover over the coat (which is reasonably expected). I figured that I would give them a second chance because I thought that this must have been an oversight on their part. Well unfortunately, the second coat that I dropped off had very much the same problem. This time the coat had tiny feathers all over it. You could tell that my long black wool coat had been placed in the same drum as a feather duvet or feather pillows. Esteem cleaning made no effort what-so-ever to remove these feathers which were so apparent: they were white against the black wool! I had somebody else pick up my coat the second time, otherwise there would be no way would I accept the condition of this dry-cleaning or would have I paid for this job: it was simply unacceptable this time and the first time as well. The owner of this dry cleaner must be aware of the substandard service they deliver because I cannot believe that I am the first to make them aware online with this review. I do plan on phoning the owner and discussing my concern. I can only give 1 star out of five because the state of my coats met that I had to spent so much time using a lint roller to get the hair and feathers out (time and cost).
