If I could give no stars, I would. I had a horrible ending to my relationship with Stage One Accounting this year. After being their client for over 5 years, they suddenly went MIA in early 2018 and were not available for me to file my 2017 taxes, despite me calling and emailing repeatedly. Their phone was even out of order and website was offline; I figured theyd just gone out of business and left all their clients to figure it out. Stage one did my taxes and I was not impressed. Let me start with how they screwed up so many times it drew attention to my account and I was audited later. I was over billed and when I finally got a hold of Judy Rhodes she was one of the most rude and unprofessional people I have ever met. She was short with me right off the bat and very aggressive. I asked her about the over charges and she just got angry and hung up one me. It was a terrible experience. I do NOT recommend using them!

Very disappointed!

Several years ago Judy was very helpful in a phone consultation. This year a full month before my tax deadline she agreed to review the tax return I had prepared using Ufile. I sent the PDF, waited 2 weeks, and heard nothing. Then I left her several messages and emails over 2 more weeks and got no reply. Finally I submitted my return to CRA by the deadline without her reviewing it. This strikes me as totally unprofessional. I will not contact them again.
