Why the hell does everyone rate this place so high?! Low quality-fast food. My grilled cheese sandwich tasted like processed cheap cheese on Wonderbread. Also had the worst veggie burger here - how can something taste so bad?! My boyfriend had Wimpy's Famous Burger (twice the size of a regular burger), however he said the taste was nothing special. The coleslaw was terrible. Hated how the waitress would come up and check on us while we were stuffing our mouths... not the right time, woman!! One thing I did like is how for the combos (we ordered salads) they gave us one plate with the main meal and another for the salad. To the people who still have active taste buds: skip Wimpy's for god's sake.
Love to eat here every Sunday because we get up late and there is nothing better than a good old egg and toast breakfast lunch! There are always some pictures or posters that we love. Yummy!
Yet another awesome visit tonight. Delicious food again and amazing portions. My friend, who happens to have a big appetite, had to take most of his dinner home.

AWESOME experience. We came last night for dinner and I had the Chicken Shish Kebob dinner. MM MMMMM Good. It came with a HUGE Greek Salad and to die for House dressing. Too bad they wouldnt give me the recipe for the dressing. I LOVED IT. Then the meal was sensational and the Garlic Bread YUUMMY. My friend had the Chicken Souvlaki, he liked it alot, although he meant to order the Shish Kebob dinner. Hubby had the Mushroom Swiss Burger special with soup and he enjoyed it and my daughter had the Sausage and Eggs. She enjoyed it too. It got very busy so we are glad we came in when we did. AWESOME overall :)
This is the best place in town for breakfast or lunch. The food is CONSISTENTLY good and the staff is friendly. Not fancy or pretentious, but just plain good.
The Aurora Wimpy's Diner is a one of our favourite stops. We particularly like the breakfasts and lunches. The food is consistently good, always fast and with excellent service. The milkshakes are genuine old-fashioned shakes, not like you'd get at a fast-food place. The staff is great. If you want a good meal at a decent price in Aurora, this is the place.
This little diner offers the best food in town. We have had breakfast, lunch and dinner at "our" Wimpy's, but our absolute favourite is breakfast for dinner. My kids love having pancakes and eggs and we love steak with eggs. The service is always great and the food consistently good. The Aurora Wimpy's offers better food and better value than all the snooty "atmosphere" restaurants and sports pubs in town.
I would have to say that Wimpys is one of our faviourt places to eat, we love the atmospher the food and the people!! No matter what you feel like, breakfast burgers or something a little more healthy they have it!! We love it here!! keep up the great work!!

I really like this place. People here are very nice and pleasant but what I dont like is that the portion for the Philly Beef sandwich seems to be shrinking more and more each time I come. Come on guys, bring back the bigger portions please

Breakfast is pretty standard. It arrives hot and fairly quickly - the only thing I don't like are the breakfast potatoes that they do, bland. It would be better to ask for fries if you want potatoes with your breakfast. Sometimes the poached eggs have arrived 'microwaved' as opposed to boiled - but the super friendly wait staff make up for the not-so-perfect food.
Breakfasts was pretty good. They should change their sausages as they tasted below average. Also the potatoes/home fries as mentioned below are awful. I get the fries for breakfast.
I asked the wait staff if they could fry the home fries for me as i had seen them on other tables and they looked undercooked. They mentioned that they couldn't and that they serve them the way they do because people have complained about the "fatness" of fried foods... (but i guess its okay for french fries?)
They should have options for how they serve the potatoes as i really think this kills an otherwise convienent breakfast place.

The service was very nice and the food came fast. The burger is HUGE and tastes great. The breakfast platter was okay up until the potatoes. Very dry and tasteless. If you don't order the potatoes (home fries), then it is an excellent restaurant.
I love this Diner. I know it is not a fine cuisine restaurant, but it is a gret place to relax. The wiat staff are so very friendly and the food is good. It is great for a student like me because you get a lot of food for a cheaper price. My boyfriend and I eat here whenever we want to go out, but do not have a lot of money.
