Family owned and operated, Sloppy Joe's on Lakeshore Blvd W in Etobicoke, has been around since 1998. Though famous for the chicken wings and sloppy joe, the menu boasts a bevvy of wings, sandwiches, appetizers, salads and mains. There is even an all day breakfast available.
I've been working at this place for a few weeks but trust this is the worst place to work. The owners hire a lot of servers at one time and threaten them of firing. Once you do the smallest mistake you must leave the place right away. I did tried my best but the managers do not notice that at all!!!!!! of all the workplaces i've been this is theWORST ONE!!!!!!!
What can I say that already hasn't been said. The wings are to die for. They are huge, tasty and just the best. I order 10 and I've yet to get through them. I can eat 4 or 5 with a small greek salad and I'm full. The wait staff lets me take the leftovers home. And the greek salad is the best greek salad I've ever tasted.
These wings must be from genetically modified chickens! I seriously do not understand how they can have so much meat on them and still be this big!
My girlfriend kept ranting on about the wings at this place and I'm usually the type to prefer the smaller/meatier wings vs. larger/breadier. I was pleasantly surprised.. these wings are incredible! Trust me, unless you probably won't need more than 10.
I usually like hot wings but I find their hot wings lacking in taste compared to medium and mild.
It happened twice that we got a mug that must have been taken right out of the dishwasher because it was still hot when we poured our beer into them.. a bit of a turn-off.
The place lives up to most bar/pub cleanliness standards.
Sloppy Joe's has $0.50 wing nights on Tue + Thu and Karaoke as well afterward. It's also a great place to watch a Leafs game.

We went for the wings period!!!! The best in the city and trust me I've eating a many wing from different restaurants and nothing compares to the giant wings here! Simply the best! As for the rest of the food items on the menu, I would also recommend you try them as well . Many of the items are homemade and you definately taste the difference. Try the homemade hamburger or the greek salad. Quite often I stop in for lunch and always bring people to try the wings. One you try them you will definately be back!

My pal and myself go to Sloopy Joes about once a month, I now have got other friends to go also. I think the wings are about the best in town and the servers are friendly and helpful. I will always be coming back.

The owner is quite young and not very pleasant.....wouldn't go back and definitely not recommend this place to anyone who is a wings lover

I always go to Sloppy's, It's awesome service and great food. Although i have only had wings and fries, Great food! The wings are huge and mmm, tasty. This is the only bar me and my friends go to, it's our cheers! Oh, and did i mention the wings? ;)

I go there about 2-4 times a month...the reason is the food is great, and the service is excellent. Wings are the best I have had in Toronto, and the greek salad is amazing, if you love feta and olives.
Service is quick and smooth, and the place has lots of TVs to watch the lousy Leafs....Good place for a family to go for lunch or dinner, just not after 9pm when it transitions to more of a bar atmosphere

Very poor service the drinks are watered down and when I questioned the bartender He told me to get lost he wasn't doing anything about it he was very rude and I will never visit the dive again
We drove up to Sloppy's on a snowy Friday evening...
We drove up to Sloppy's on a snowy Friday evening around 11pm. I would say it was a waste of an evening because the kitchen was closed. We sat down and ordered drinks, they had a dj playing music. Overall an entertaining environment. When we asked to get a menu the waitress informed us that their kitchen was closed. This was not good. When I asked why? She replied that it was 11:30pm and it was late. SO then I asked if we could at least get a few fries, she said NO! We ended up finishing our drinks and leaving the establishment.
Please serve us some food next time. People who drink need to eat, that's another way of keeping them as customers. This wasn't the first time we've been to Sloppy's but the first time they refused to serve us food.
The waitress was pleasant and the service that we received was great, of course besides the fact that we couldn't get any food. That sucks....
The problem is that sometimes they close the kitchen very early in the evening. It is very unfortunate that you travel all the way there on a friday evening and are told by the waitstaff that the kitchen is closed. We have eaten there before and the food is pretty good but when you go there on a weekend evening for a few drinks and want to order wings or fries at 11pm, forget it.... I hope they could address this matter.

This is the best restaurant/bar and grille in the area by far, the food is fantastic with hearty portions, the staff is friendly and quick, and the atomshere is relaxed anf fun ten out of ten for sure. Plus they have the best wings in Toronto for sure.
