Be prepared to wait.

Little local owned place, small with maybe 50 seats and dated. Was rather busy only a few empty tables and sadly just one server, I assume she's likely a co-owner. Well that made it difficult to get decent table service, everything just took way too long to get there. They could really do with hiring a server for what is likely their busiest night. Ordered dinner and it took 45 minutes to arrive. I am guessing one person is cooking and he is not multi-tasking, judging by how the dinners were served one table at a time, then 5-7 minutes another and so on. I am guessing the kitchen is lightly staffed as well. Anyway the food was pretty decent, no home-run, but no complaints either, so that part worked out. Getting the bill was one story getting it picked up and charged was another, it likely took 20 minutes from bill drop off to transaction complete. Again it goes back to having either another server or a busser to clear tables and assist with turning tables. Actually that brings up a good point, not a single table turned while we were there. Anyway, if you want decent "Sunday" style home cooking you will get it here. You'll just have to invest about 2 hours to get it from start to finish.

Take with a grain of salt

The title of the review is because I've never actually eaten there, just went in for a drink once. The staff seemed nice enough, but the place has always been off putting to me. It's been empty every time I've stuck my head in the door, which is usually followed by my deciding to just eat at home instead. I've tried to go here again, but nearly every time I go, the place smells like bathroom cleaner. I also have to say the prices are a big turnoff, with 13.95 for chicken fingers being the cheapest thing on there. The three stars I put for food was just to fill in the form, not an actual judgment on the food.

Very surprised by this Restaurant!

I was very surprised by this restaurant. I've lived in the area for years and visited that plaza hundreds of times but I had never ventured into Lulu’s. It’s just a small place and the windows are mostly covered so you can’t just peek in to see what it’s like. My girlfriend convinced me to go and I was very impressed. The food and service was excellent! The filet mignon just melted in your mouth. I would definitely recommend trying this place out.

Went with a group. Everyone enjoyed it very much. Must mention the Jambalaya and the specialty coffees. They were both the best I've had and I mean that honestly. Great job.

This restaurant is a hidden gem - it looks like an outdated road house in a strip mall no less, but the chef is excellent, prices reasonable, and the food has never disappointed. Can't give you details because it's been a while since I was there last, but I thought it needed a mention.
