Excellent Paninis

Had some trouble deciding where to eat-we went to this charming town on a Friday off for a little shopping. We chose this historic place on the corner of the main St. The atmoshere was pleasant although it is full of fake flowers(a personal pet peeve), worn dated carpet and odd colours-purple/green table cloths. A nice big airy room with some interesting historic features as well. The prices are reasonable and the sandwhiches include choice of fries,salad or soup. My grilled veggie panini was excellent with melted goat cheese and my husband had a smoked meat panini(the pickles were in it vs. on the side which would have been better.) The soup, although edible, was strange. Billed as tomato vegetable, it had a weird taste of left over Indian curry(which is on the menu) and seemed to have had cream or something in it which had separated. It was hot and in fairness my husband loved it. I heard another diner say the same thing about its strangeness to her husband as well. Excellent waitress and overall pleasant afternnoon. Next time I will try a different place and compare.
